  15.      Standard NTSC Video displays 30 frames per second.  Each frame is
  16.      composed of two fields that are interlaced.  When recording video
  17.      animations it is sometimes good to record 60 fields per second, but to do
  18.      this two fields must be merged together into a single frame by
  19.      interleaving scanlines from two images. _f_i_e_l_d_m_e_r_g_e interleaves two images
  20.      in this way.
